| Club meetings are held
on the second Friday of the
month ( Oct. - April ) at
Walt’s Hobby Shop in
Lakeland. Meetings run from
7:00 - 9:00 PM. We discuss new
products, events, and try to
have a presentation for each
meeting. |
| The ARCS welcomes fliers
of all ages, from the young
to ???. There are 3 levels
of membership. Youth (under
18), Regular (18-64) and
Senior (over 65) |

Membership Requirements |
The cost of admission is
not your dues!
Dues are collected so that
the club is able to purchase
the materials necessary to
maintain the field and it’s
amenities. Dues are also
used to pay for our AMA
charter as well as to fund
our monthly newsletter and
other miscellaneous
expenses.
We rely on the membership to
do the things that need
doing. Club events (fun fly,
picnic, pattern meets, New
Years Day flying event,
flight instruction, field
maintenance....) can only be
successful if the membership
assist with the running of
these events.
That is why first year
members are expected to
assist with at least one
club function, and second
year members to assist with
at least two club functions. |
|
AMA
(Academy of Model
Aeronautics) membership is
required. |
